Meet Winston, he is much loved!  This one year old pup was mistreated by a senior couple who found having an active, young dog underfoot was more than they could manage. He had a fun time in foster care, and after a month of training and play, was adopted to a loving family who has a couple of other Cavaliers. He’s doing great

Cavalier Rescue USA (CKCSCR, Inc.) is a national, all volunteer, foster home based, non-profit organization. We are dedicated to finding loving families for Cavaliers in need of new homes. The Cavaliers entrusted to us are evaluated for temperament, brought up to date medically, and are cared for by our dedicated volunteers until a permanent, loving family is found to adopt them.

We take in and find homes for over 500 Cavaliers a year nationwide. Most of the dogs are adults and come from private homes, although we do take in some from breeders and shelters. The typical reason for a Cavalier being re-homed is due to changes in the owner’s circumstance, and they are truly doing what’s best for the dog by placing them in rescue.

Would  you like to volunteer to foster a cavalier in rescue? Or even help with transport? Cavalier Rescue USA needs volunteers, especially in the State of Georgia! If you would like to volunteer, please complete an online volunteer form and a Cavalier Rescue USA volunteer will be in contact.
